Job summary

Bank of America seeks a skilled professional to join Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) within Global Risk Management. You will develop models, analytical tools, and testing scripts to monitor operational health and ensure compliance across processes.

You will collaborate with process owners, risk managers, GCOR, and data teams to design testing methodologies, identify risks, and drive improvements and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Process and Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, or Data Science.

Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) is a sub-line of business within Global Risk Management (GRM). EIT is responsible for developing consistent and coherent analytical tools and tests for effective risk and capital measurement, management, and reporting across Bank of America. EIT partners with the Lines of Business and Enterprise function to ensure the capabilities it builds address both internal and regulatory requirements and are responsive to the changing nature of portfolios, economic conditions, and emerging risks. In executing its activities, EIT drives innovation, process improvement, and automation.

EIT is transforming the way testing is built and executed through digital transformation, automation, and cutting‑edge artificial intelligence and natural language processing technologies. EIT carries a portfolio of 8,000+ tests and has a global footprint of testing professionals across the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America, as well as Global Business Services (GBS) associates.

Job Description:

Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) has established itself as the enterprise utility for testing all end‑to‑end processes on behalf of the Second Line of Defense, Frontline Units (FLUs), and Control Functions (CFs), enabling more efficient and effective testing.

This role is responsible for developing capabilities such as models, analytical tools, and testing scripts that provide timely, actionable insights into the operational health of Bank of America's processes. Key responsibilities include working with process owners to understand data, process flows, and controls; identifying risks; and designing effective testing and monitoring. Job expectations include creating methodologies to evaluate process and control effectiveness and compliance with laws, rules, and policies.

Communicates effectively to explain the rationale, methodology details, and results to a broad set of audiences, including key senior stakeholders across the Bank, auditors, and regulators

Applies experience in process and operational excellence

Reviews test builds, maintenance, and quality assessments

Oversees the identification and handling of issue escalation/resolution to prevent delays in delivery and identify and leverage opportunities for automation where possible

Interacts extensively with internal or external contacts to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex problems

Ensures effectiveness and compliance with laws, rules, and policies.
