Job summary

HEB is seeking an experienced Test Developer to design, develop, automate, and maintain comprehensive testing solutions across our applications and systems. You will work closely with software developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify quality risks and build automated test frameworks.

The ideal candidate has strong programming skills and hands‑on experience building automated testing solutions, CI/CD integration, and contributing to test strategy and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing, test automation, QA engineering, software development, or a related field.
• Strong programming or scripting experience in at least one language such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and software testing methodologies.
• Experience with API testing and web/application testing.
• Experience working with Git or another version-control system.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Strong understanding of defect management and root-cause analysis.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.


• Experience testing distributed systems, microservices, or enterprise applications.


• Experience with test management and defect‑tracking tools such as Jira.


• Knowledge of secure software development and application security testing.

Compensation

Annual Base Salary: $95,000–$140,000
