Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a seasoned engineer to validate server platforms, analyze BIOS/UEFI boot flow, and perform reliability testing. You will debug complex hardware and software issues, lead RCA investigations, and build Python tools for automated testing and diagnostics.

Responsibilities include supporting product qualification, handling escalations, and contributing to firmware and hardware fault analysis across NIC, PCIe, NVMe, and memory subsystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, CS or related field.
• 3–7 years of server validation, debugging, or reliability engineering experience.
• BIOS, UEFI, and boot flow analysis experience.
• BMC/IPMI/Redfish management familiarity.
• Linux administration and debugging skills.
• PCIe Gen4/5/6, DDR4/DDR5, NVMe technologies knowledge.
• Python automation development and MySQL data analysis.
• InfiniBand and fiber networking fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate BIOS, BMC, storage, networking, and GPU functionality.
• Perform reliability, performance and interoperability testing.
• Support qualification of new server products.
• Responsible for test process instructions (TPI) generation and production operator trainings.
• Debug complex failures involving: CPU and memory subsystems, PCIe devices, NVMe storage, Ethernet and InfiniBand networks.
• Investigate BIOS POST failures and boot sequence issues.
• Analyze BMC logs, sensor data, and firmware behavior.
• Perform Linux system-level troubleshooting.
• RMA support.
• Lead subsystem-level RCA investigations.
• Determine hardware, firmware, software, or manufacturing ownership.
• Generate formal RCA reports and corrective actions.
• Support customer escalations and analysis.
• Develop Python tools for: Automated testing, Log collection, Failure analysis, Diagnostic automation.
• Utilize MySQL databases for: Yield analysis, Failure trending, Reliability reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 3–7 years of server validation, debugging, or reliability engineering experience.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000-$95,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and business needs.
