Job summary

The Test Cell Operator in Chelsea, MI, will be responsible for the safe execution of vehicle-based testing, following instructions and regulatory standards. This permanent role reports to the Director of Operations.

Description

The Test Cell Operator is responsible for the safe execution of vehicle-based testing. An Operator conducts the testing based on various work instructions required to comply with regulatory or industry best practice for development or certification testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare and secure customer vehicles for testing on a dynamometer, ensuring proper loading and restraints.


• Conduct routine inspections on vehicles, maintain detailed records, and report any issues as needed.


• Perform data entry and reporting tasks using Microsoft Excel and Word accurately record, organize, and distribute test results for internal and external use.


• Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the facility remains clean, organized, and operational.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
