Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- Design, develop, and implement test benches using TestStand to meet project requirements.
- Maintain and update existing test benches, ensuring they remain effective and efficient.
- Ensures the Configuration and Build Management of the TPS development
- Contributes to the Change Management of the TPS Solution.
- Performs the test software development and test sequence to test the units under test (UUT) on the test bench solution.
- Collaborate with IFE hardware engineers to integrate hardware components with test systems.
- Develop automated test scripts and sequences in TestStand to facilitate testing processes.
- Propose strategy, measure performance and modify accordingly the test sequence to optimize technician touch time in the repair station.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test benches and test sequences.
- Perform regular maintenance and enhancements of test systems to improve performance and reliability.
- Document test procedures, results, and updates thoroughly for reference and training purposes.
- Provide technical support and training to Repair centers on the test bench use and maintenance of test benches.
Qualification
- 5+ years of experience of test development experience with NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in developing and supporting test benches using TestStand.
- Experience with usage of different test and measurement instrument drivers
- Experience with NI hardware platforms
- Experience in configuration of spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, power supplies and DMM
- Strong programming skills, particularly in LabVIEW for ATE TopBench tester development.
- Solid understanding of hardware engineering principles and how they integrate with test systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence.
