Job summary

Impulse Space in Redondo Beach is seeking a Test Automation Engineer (Software) at all levels to own test and automation software design, implementation, and operation within a fast-paced, Agile team.

You will develop tools for data acquisition, hardware control, and GUI applications, collaborate with the test operations team, and participate in the full lifecycle from design to deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS or related field.
• 2+ years with Python or an object-oriented language and hands-on software experience.
• Experience developing user-facing software for networking, hardware control and data acquisition.
• Experience with software best practices and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop test automation software and tools for testing operations.
• Collaborate with test operations to support testing activities daily.
• Participate in the complete test program lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Design, develop, review code and improve automation capabilities.
• Work onsite in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Resolve issues with innovative and resourceful solutions.
