Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks a test engineer to perform end-to-end testing on embedded platforms. You will work with RTOS and Linux, test with Advantech STM32 boards, and validate serial and network protocols.

You will develop test plans, execute functional tests, and document defects in Jira, collaborating with hardware and software teams to ensure IO and protocol reliability.

Qualifications

• : Experience using PyTest for end-to-end testing.
• : Familiarity with RTOS and Linux platforms.
• : Experience testing embedded hardware such as Advantech STM32 boards.
• : Knowledge of testing microcontroller firmware.
• : Experience testing Serial, Ethernet TCP/IP, Modbus, and CAN protocols.
• : Hands-on with lab equipment like oscilloscope, power meters, power supplies, and data sniffers.
• : Experience with end-to-end functional testing of IO and ports/protocols.
• : Proficiency with Jira for defect and requirements management.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on testing of embedded systems across RTOS and Linux platforms.
• Plan, execute, and document end-to-end functional tests for IO and protocols.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to reproduce, diagnose, and track defects in Jira.
• Validate Serial, Ethernet TCP/IP, Modbus and CAN communications in test setups.
