Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in the United States to contribute to QE transformation and AI-enabled software solutions within our Retail unit. You will document requirements, guide design decisions, and assist in building scalable testing strategies across multiple applications.

The role emphasizes end-to-end SDLC involvement, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and hands-on coding, testing, and optimization to ensure robust,高-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience of quality engineering (QE) transformation and enterprise-wide testing modernization.
  • Experience in AI solutioning and implementation.
  • Understanding of automation tools across AI solutions, API aspects, and non-functional checks.
  • Experience in enterprise architecture and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with QE operating models, governance, KPIs, SLAs, metrics, and executive reporting.
  • Experience in test automation strategy and continuous testing implementations.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, DevOps, CI/CD, Shift-Left/Right testing.

Responsibilities

  • Document assigned parts of business requirements and guide design discussions.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

  • Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
  • Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
  • Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
  • Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
  • Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
  • Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
  • Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
  • Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill and Experience

  • Experience of quality engineering (QE) transformation, QE consulting, and enterprise-wide testing modernization initiatives.
  • Experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutioning and implementation.
  • Understanding of technical aspects like automation tools across, AI solutions, API aspects, and NFR Checks.
  • Experience of enterprise architecture and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience of enterprise quality engineering operating model, TCoE setup, governance frameworks, KPIs, SLAs, metrics, and executive reporting.
  • Experience in test automation strategy, automation architecture framework design and continuous testing implementation.
  • Experience in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, DevOps, CI/CD, Shift-Left, and Shift-Right testing practices.
  • Experience of enterprise test management, quality governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Experience of handling large-scale testing program leadership across multiple applications, portfolios, and business domains.

Preferred Skill and Experience

  • Retail domain experience.
  • Experience of quality analytics, dashboards and data-driven decision making.
  • Experience of engineering process improvement, productivity optimization and cost reduction programs.
  • Experience of change management, organizational transformation and capability development.
  • Experience of developing reusable test automation frameworks, accelerators, standards, and best practices.

Additional Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
