Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking Test Assistants to join our Electrical Power Services team in Ontario, CA. The Test Assistant supports inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and documentation of electrical power distribution equipment in commercial, industrial and utility environments.

This role provides entry-level to developing technician work under the direction of qualified senior technicians and project leads.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required and on the job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned preventive and reactive maintenance on equipment, systems or structures across conveyors, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and related areas.
• Ensure repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities.
• Respond to spills and other emergencies; perform janitorial and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Assist in client, site or customer emergencies as needed.
