Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Test Architect to support the Software Engineering Directorate at Redstone Arsenal. This hands-on role focuses on designing, developing, and managing development and test environments, tools, and hardware emulators to support software integration within a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environment.

The position requires a strong background in Linux, automation, and test tool development, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline and nine (9) or more years of relevant professional experience; Additional six (6) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).
• Active Secret security clearance preferred; US Citizenship required.
• Experience in Linux environments and Linux programming and/or shell scripting.

Clearance Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

• Knowledge of operating system configuration and management.
• Experience implementing Information Assurance (IA) requirements.
• Experience applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

Target salary range: $100,001 - $140,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
