Job summary

Applied Research Solutions (ARS) seeks a Test and Evaluation Trainer to support USSTRATCOM at Offutt AFB, NE. This full-time, on-site role focuses on advancing mission planning and execution capabilities through systems engineering, Agile/DevOps practices, and CI/CD for NC3/Deterrence efforts.

The position requires 12+ years in related fields, 5+ years in DoD, and a TS/SCI eligibility. Strong instructional skills and cross-functional collaboration are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Citizenship required: US citizen.
• Active TS/SCI clearance eligibility required.
• BS degree required.
• 12+ years of relevant experience, including 5 years of DoD experience.
• Experience in test and evaluation, systems engineering, or mission-focused technical analysis within DoD or similar environments.
• Understanding of NC3, strategic deterrence missions, or related command-and-control systems (preferred).
• Strong communication and instructional skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical training.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and diverse government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develops SMPES - Recap training materials and courseware for incorporation into SMPES formal training program(s); includes operational training aids and video-based training
• Attends meetings with SMPES – Recap developers to provide operational expertise during initial capability development, and post-production phases of SMPES - Recap system implementation; includes Discrepancy Reviews (DRs) and cross-talk regularly scheduled meetings
• Provides operational system training to all SMPES – Recap user organizations; includes operational demonstrations, Recap Orientation Course (ROC), Ad hoc training events, exercise, and OT&E
• Assists LDTO as required to ensure SMPES – Recap testing integration success
• Provides operational expertise during the development of test plans for all SMPES – Recap test and training events; includes exercises, Test, and OT&E events
• Authors and executes test Plans for SMPES and NPES Recap; test cases/test reports/test repository/status
• Other duties as assigned.

ARS has an opportunity for a Test and Evaluation Trainer in support of USSTRATCOM. This is a full-time position located at Offutt AFB, NE.

The Test and Evaluation Trainer will support cutting-edge research, development, and technical analysis efforts for US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM)/J56 and the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center (NEC). This role involves advancing mission planning and execution capabilities for strategic deterrence through systems engineering, Agile/DevOps practices, and continuous integration/delivery methodologies. Contractors will be engaged in evaluating and enhancing the survivability, interoperability, and reliability of strategic weapon systems while contributing to planning documents, test and evaluation strategies, and rapid technology fielding efforts.
