Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a Staff Registered Nurse for Tertiary Care to deliver high-quality patient care under supervision. You will be accountable for nursing assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation within the Massachusetts Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.

Responsibilities include clinical judgment, patient/family education, and collaboration with the care team to ensure safe, effective care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• 2-3 years of RN experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrates skilled clinical practice and adherence to nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care by organizing and coordinating care for assigned patients/families.
• Perform comprehensive patient and family assessment.
• Deliver age-appropriate care and evaluate patient responses to treatment.
• Develop, implement, and adjust plans of care as needed.
• Establish professional relationships with nurses, physicians and other team members.
• Educate patients and families about illness, treatment and preventive measures.
