Job summary

McClatchy Media Company is seeking a part-time Merchandiser in Waverly, TN to service products across multiple stores with travel between accounts. This on-site role focuses on 100% merchandising, following planograms, replenishing shelves, and recording hours in designated apps; requires reliable transportation, strong communication, and the ability to work independently.

Employment is contingent on background check, a 4-panel drug test (THC not included), and MVR clearance.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• 100% Merchandising
• Work within a retail environment to effectively merchandise products by applying appropriate store and/or corporate standards.
• Safely and efficiently replenish product.
• May assemble shelves/racks and display cases following measurement guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled within the allotted hours provided by Supervisor, Merchandising.
• Seek prior approval from Supervisor before working outside of scheduled hours.
• Contact Supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a workday or overtime.
• Accurately record work hours and other company-related information using designated applications.
• Discuss duties requested by store personnel not listed herein with Supervisor before performing those duties.
