Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking a sales-focused professional to direct a total effort toward achieving territory and district sales goals. You will interact with established customers and develop new prospects to drive orders and growth.

This role requires independent travel, product demonstrations, and the ability to manage credit terms, pricing, and collections while maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of experience in a similar sales environment.
• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar sales environment (B2B foodservice) and experience with SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers and solicit orders.
• Demonstrate products using samples and catalogs to emphasize features and benefits.
• Quote selling price and credit terms for orders obtained.
• Maintain daily contact with internal departments, manager, customers, and outside sources.
• Ensure collections and follow-up on all customer accounts.
