Job Shift: 1st shift (M-F 8:00a - 4:30p)
Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Securing renovation, service, parts, and yearly maintenance contracts with Hussey direct customers. Major functions include prospecting customers, on-site inspections of products, detailing required scope of work, writing proposals, closing orders and managing sold orders to meet the Hussey Advantage sales and profit budget.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively prospecting of customer base to secure contracts
  • Provide on-site inspections of any/all seating products and gymnasium equipment products, writing detailed inspection findings report, recommending scope of work relative to maintenance, service, product training, and quality or safety issues.
  • Writing pricing proposals complete with costing and scope of work.
  • Follow up existing and new proposals to secure purchase contracts and increase sales to meet sales and profitability budgets.
  • Receive requests pertaining to technical questions, required maintenance needs, or inspections via fax, e-mail, or direct phone calls. Able to trouble shoot operational issues while on site or via phone conversations.
  • Communicate installation schedules related to renovation, service and repair or other projects upon request. Provide support to installers when required to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Assist in product development efforts to develop standardized parts list or kits for retrofitting older model products using current parts. (i.e., rails, sockets & power)
  • Provide support for mailings, follow-up calls, and other sales related tasks.
  • Maintain high level of product knowledge and applicable installation methods.
  • Provide and maintain project tracking information data in Salesforce.

  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude and installation experience
