Are you a driven sales professional passionate about prospecting, building relationships, and exceeding targets? Join us as a Territory Sales Manager, focusing on growing our business in containers, ground-level offices, modular structures, and value-added solutions.

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will develop and execute strategic sales plans, focusing on prospecting, lead conversion, and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline. You will build lasting customer relationships through regular communication and exceptional service, using Salesforce CRM for performance management and customer interactions. Staying informed on market trends and competitors, you will provide consultative selling solutions, prepare competitive quotes, and negotiate terms to maximize profitability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure seamless project execution, alongside maintaining accurate sales records and meeting performance goals through effective time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  1. Sales Growth & Prospecting: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to generate new business, focusing on outbound prospecting (80%) and inbound lead conversion (20%).
  2. Pipeline Management: Maintain and grow a sales pipeline by identifying top prospects and market segments, converting leads into high-value projects.
  3. Customer Relationships: Build long-lasting partnerships by understanding customer needs, offering tailored solutions, and providing exceptional service. Use Salesforce CRM to track and manage relationships.
  4. Market & Product Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends and competitors. Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and provide insights to management.
  5. Consultative Selling: Employ a consultative approach to offer competitive pricing and solutions. Prepare accurate quotes and negotiate terms that meet both customer and business needs.
  6. Performance Reporting: Use CRM tools to maintain detailed sales records and generate performance reports, tracking key metrics to ensure goal achievement.
  7. Team Collaboration: Work closely with operations and support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Provide leadership and support to team members as needed.

Skills & Experience:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience with 1+ year outbound prospecting or at WillScot.
  • Ability to travel 10%-20% for field visits, primarily local with minimal overnight stays. Role based in the branch, with ~80% outbound cold-calling.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Zoom.
  • Experience with high-volume, transactional sales cycles.
  • Leasing experience is a plus but not required.
  • A consultative, solution-oriented sales approach is advantageous.
