Jobtailor in Washington, DC is seeking a senior channel sales professional to manage inbound interest from installers and distribution partners, qualify leads, and guide partners through early-stage sales conversations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, account development, product management, sales engineering, or sales operations.
  • Proficient in analytic software tools such as Google Sheets.
  • Ability to filter and analyze Salesforce reports and use insights to prioritize activity and develop business plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and plan in a complex and ever-changing sales environment.
  • Proficient with CRM tools; Salesforce preferred.
  • High learning agility for new sales tools.
  • Must reside in the territory to facilitate in-market events and activities.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Experience with 2-tier distribution sales is an application question.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound interest from prospective installer and distribution partners
  • Engage leads, qualify fit, and guide partners through early-stage sales conversations
  • Deliver tailored pitches highlighting SPAN product value and program benefits
  • Lead onboarding and activation calls for newly authorized partners
  • Enable existing partners to deepen engagement and increase SPAN sales volume
  • Participate in approximately 8-15 market-visit days per month for field events, trade shows, trainings, sales calls, partner ride-alongs, and site visits
  • Use Salesforce to track engagement, funnel conversion, and activation status
  • Analyze pipeline and territory-level metrics to identify opportunities and bottlenecks
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and contribute to team forecasting
  • Measure ongoing performance and course-correct using sales data
  • Develop territory and channel business plans with leadership
  • Contribute to team enablement by sharing feedback, identifying blockers, and supporting continuous improvement
  • Manage inventory turns in market
  • Partner with Channel Program Leads to optimize channel-program sales impact
  • Build and activate SPAN's installer and distribution network to drive adoption of electrification products
