Job summary

Amcor, a global packaging leader, is seeking a Territory Manager to grow Custom Films sales in the field. This role engages with purchasing, product development, operations, quality, and marketing at distributor and end‑user levels.

The candidate will drive organic growth, build broad account relationships, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to deliver Amcor’s One Amcor approach.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • 3–5 years of progressive sales experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; cross-functional collaboration.

Job Description

The Territory Manager’s key responsibilities include developing new prospects and interacting with existing customers to increase sales of the organization’s Custom Films product line. This position is a field sales position that requires interfacing with customer contacts at multiple levels in Purchasing, Product Development, Operations, Quality and Marketing at both the distribution and end‑user level.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new business and increase profitability within the region by driving organic growth,
  • Develop plans to execute strategy that provides sustainable organic growth while maintaining vital links to each respective Amcor division
  • Ensure that Amcor’s total offerings, products and services are represented in a unified manner to deliver the One Amcor approach
  • Successfully identify solutions Amcor can provide to enable broad account relationships at the mid to high levels while spreading throughout the functional areas of each organization
  • Ability to drive business on a regional / national basis where applicable, travel as needed
  • Implementation and support of robust commercial processes (CRM) to provide transparency and enable effective communication
  • Identify, collaborate and develop key internal resources (Product Management and Commercialization) as required to achieve customer growth goals
  • Align key Amcor resource personnel with their customer counterparts to develop deep customer relationships
  • Proven hunter mentality with a strong desire to prospect, open new doors, and win business in challenging market conditions.
Requirements And Experience
  • Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in the broadline foodservice, janitorial/sanitary supply or in a related area in distribution or manufacturing
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive and successful sales experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to work cross‑functionally to drive business solutions
  • Self‑motivated, resilient sales professional with a strong hunter mentality and a proven ability to persevere through rejection, obstacles, and long sales cycles.

Compensation

The starting salary for this position is expected to be between $0 to $0; however, base pay offered may vary within the full salary range $0 to $0 depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on national averages and a geographic differential may be applied based on work location. Position may also be eligible for Amcor’s Management Incentive Plan / Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits. The salary range provided reflects the anticipated base pay for this role at the time of this posting. This range is applicable to positions performed in jurisdictions with pay transparency requirements, including CA, CO, CT, HI, IL, MD, MA, MN, NV, NJ, NY, RI, VT, WA, Washington DC, as well as remote roles that may be performed in these locations. Compensation for roles performed outside of these jurisdictions may vary. The Company reserves the right to modify this range at any time.
