  • Successfully complete a formal training and certification program for all responsible products and disease states, demonstrating proficiency in product & market knowledge and selling skills

  • Use functional and technical knowledge of Bausch Health products, healthcare, pharmaceutical marketplace, managed care, and customer markets to meet or exceed customer needs

  • Create pre-call plan objectives and execute post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance; effectively handle objections and consistently gain reasonable calls to action

  • Develop and execute a call plan that optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities

  • Continuously build understanding of customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, and market dynamics; share market intelligence with the in-field team, brand team, and sales manager

  • Establish and maintain excellent communications and sound working relationships with co-workers and assigned physicians/healthcare providers

  • Actively participate in scheduled company sales meetings, district/regional conference calls, and other business meetings

  • Demonstrate honesty and integrity while modeling behaviors consistent with company standards and policies for business and compliance-related matters

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners – including Field Reimbursement and sales leadership – for total account management

  • Understand appropriate payor and reimbursement guidance, as directed by internal cross-functional stakeholders, and act as the “first line of defense” in answering health care provider questions related to company product reimbursement

  • Escalate complex reimbursement, coding, or billing questions, as well as patient-specific coverage issues, to the Field Reimbursement Manager

  • Complete all administrative tasks (call reporting, expense management, required compliance training) in a timely manner

  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all customer interactions in the company’s CRM platform to support territory analytics and compliance documentation

  • Other related duties as required
