A Day In The Life

As a Territory Manager at CVRx, you will play a pivotal role combining market development expertise with hands-on technical support, ensuring the success of CVRx technologies in therapeutic applications. This dynamic role involves strategic planning, educational support, and direct clinical engagement. Success requires professional presentation skills, product knowledge, negotiation, and closing sales skills to meet or exceed sales targets.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Develops and implements strategies, including resource development and deployment, to meet patient implant and revenue goals.
  2. Ensures execution of strategies to meet metrics within the assigned territory.
  3. Demonstrates proficiency with Salesforce, dashboards, forecasting, and CVRx business applications, with the ability to teach others.
  4. Maintains thorough understanding of physiological and technical principles related to CVRx technologies and therapies.
  5. Supports implants, follow-up procedures, troubleshooting, and technical assistance to healthcare providers and CVRx staff.
  6. Addresses technical inquiries and researches solutions.
  7. Represents CVRx devices to cardiologists, hypertension specialists, and vascular surgeons to ensure understanding of clinical therapy.
  8. Provides on-call clinical support, training, and education to physicians and hospital staff.
  9. Supports R&D through customer feedback on product enhancements and new development ideas.
  10. Adheres to sales processes and maintains accurate device records in Salesforce.
  11. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What we expect of you:
  • BSc or equivalent in health sciences, engineering, or business, or relevant experience.
  • 7-10+ years in medical device industry or related clinical/business development experience.
  • Experience with cardiology, heart failure, or related therapeutic devices.
  • Ability to understand and execute strategies related to active implantable medical devices.
  • Knowledge of market competitors and device advantages/disadvantages.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills.
  • Leadership qualities and ability to forecast and meet goals.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and relationship-oriented.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, with reliable transportation.
  • Valid ID for domestic travel.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Healthcare experience beneficial.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is a plus.
  • Experience leading sales teams or within CVRx's organization.
  • Ability to collaborate with R&D for product feedback.
Working Conditions
  • Remote office environment.
  • Interaction with internal teams and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Travel up to 75%, including overnight stays.
  • Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and meet credentialing requirements.
