Are you a driven sales professional ready to own a multi-state territory and accelerate growth for a global leader in industrial automation? Join TURCK and take the lead in driving impact across Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.

What You Will Do

The Territory Manager (TM) is a high-impact, field-based sales role responsible for driving revenue growth and increasing market share within an assigned geographic territory (Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky). As the primary owner of the territory, the TM leads direct customer engagement, identifies and develops strategic sales opportunities, and expands TURCK’s presence across OEMs, end users, system integrators, and engineering firms. In close partnership with the District Sales Manager, the TM executes targeted territory and account plans, manages a disciplined sales pipeline, and leverages distributor partnerships to maximize reach and performance. This role requires a results-driven professional with strong technical sales acumen, consultative selling skills, and the ability to influence across a complex channel ecosystem. The TM serves as a trusted advisor to customers and a key executor of TURCK’s commercial strategy - responsible for both growing existing business and acquiring new customers within targeted vertical markets.

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan aligned with district and regional objectives, including account segmentation, growth initiatives, and distributor engagement.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets by driving new business development, expanding existing accounts, and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers across OEMs, end users, system integrators, and engineering firms to influence specifications and purchasing decisions.
  • Partner with and develop distributor relationships to expand market coverage, generate demand, and execute coordinated go-to-market strategies; serve as the primary liaison for assigned distributor branches.
  • Proactively prospect for new accounts and identify growth opportunities within existing customers to increase market penetration and solution adoption.
  • Drive vertical market growth by collaborating with internal stakeholders to target key industries and applications.
  • Coordinate with engineering, technical, and factory resources to support customer needs and advance complex sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM tools; actively participate in sales planning and business reviews.
  • Provide actionable market intelligence and customer feedback to sales leadership, marketing, and product management to inform strategy, pricing, and product development.
  • Represent TURCK at industry events, trade shows, and internal meetings to strengthen brand presence and stay current on market trends.
  • Serve as a responsive problem-solver for customers by addressing technical inquiries, resolving product issues, and delivering value-added solutions.
  • Continuously enhance product knowledge and consultative selling capabilities to improve customer engagement and sales effectiveness.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Territory
  • Assigned geographic territory includes Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky
  • Regular regional travel required to support customer and distributor engagement
Compensation
  • Base salary plus performance-based bonus (incentive plan)
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree required; technical, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within industrial automation, electrical components, sensors, controls, or related manufacturing technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in new business development and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Experience working with or through industrial distributors and/or manufacturer representative networks.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
