Job summary

Mondelēz International in the United States invites applications for a Territory Coverage Associate. You will convert staffing gaps into reliable, high-quality in-store execution, supporting Merchandisers and Order Writers, upholding brand standards, and ensuring stores align with company expectations.

In this field role you’ll visit stores across the territory, build relationships with store teams, assist with seasonal transitions and product launches, and help onboarding of new merchandisers.

Qualifications

• 18+ with a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence.
• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in retail or consumer goods preferred.
• Live inside the geographical boundaries of the team.
• Flexible schedule including weekends.
• Ability to travel across assigned markets.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs; occasionally over 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Represent Mondelēz in stores with professionalism and execute standards while supporting Merchandisers and Order Writers across the territory.
• Serve as a trusted field partner delivering strong customer service to store teams and reinforcing Mondelēz’s standards.
• Execute daily coverage using Merchandising Excellence and Order Writing standards; capture photos and document execution.
• Implement promotional displays and ensure visibility per RTM plans.
• Follow schedules set by your District Manager or RTM for efficient territory coverage.
• Assist with seasonal transitions, new product launches, and high-visibility events.
• Build and maintain relationships with store personnel to support smooth execution.
• Support onboarding of new Merchandisers and Order Writers to strengthen field capability.
• Develop skills for future leadership in operations and communications.
• Stay safe and compliant, including physical activity and adherence to company vehicle policies.

As a Territory Coverage Associate, you convert staffing gaps into reliable, high-quality execution. You provide hands on support to Merchandisers and Order Writers, maintain operational consistency, uphold brand, execution standards, and ensure stores stays aligned with company expectations.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Represent Mondelēz: in stores with professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to execution excellence as you support Merchandisers and Order Writers across the territory.
• Serve as a trusted field partner: delivering strong customer service to store teams while reinforcing Mondelēz’s standards and expectations.
• Execute daily coverage: completing store visits using Merchandising Excellence standards, Order Writing Excellence, including capturing display photos and documenting execution through DMI & Sales force.
• Implement promotional displays: ensuring compliance with RTM-negotiated plans and maintaining strong visibility of our brands.
• Follow assigned schedules: executing daily priorities set by your District Manager (DM) or RTM to ensure efficient and effective territory coverage.
• Assist with seasonal transitions: supporting new product launches, seasonal merchandising, and high-visibility promotional events.
• Build and maintain relationships: partnering with store personnel—including receivers, department managers, and store leadership—to support smooth execution and collaboration.
• Support capability building: reinforcing foundational skills and assisting with the onboarding of new Merchandisers and Order Writers to strengthen field capability.
• Develop for future leadership: building the operational, communication, and problem‑solving skills that serve as a strong foundation for future advancement into management roles.
• Stay Safe and Compliant: Embrace the physical nature of the role—including lifting, bending, and moving product—while following all safety protocols, operational guidelines, and company vehicle policies to ensure safe and responsible driving across the territory.

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides.

• Mondelez International also offers a company vehicle, which includes a gas card and vehicle maintenance program.

Salary and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is $40,600 to $55,825; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
