Job summary

Summit Business Group in California seeks a Territory Sales Representative to cultivate relationships with local businesses, grow a book of business, and present supplemental insurance products to owners and benefits managers. This outside sales role involves face-to-face meetings, scheduling, and balancing cold and warm leads to meet monthly targets.

You will work in your own territory, with training provided and opportunities for advancement within a family‑oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of professional work experience in outside sales.
• Licensed in Health & Life or willing to obtain license with licensing reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with local business owners and decision-makers.
• Grow a book of business and manage a pipeline of B2B opportunities.
• Call on new businesses, referrals, and existing clients to servicer or upsell.
• Set follow-up appointments and present supplemental insurance products.
• Submit sales metrics and activity on a regular schedule.
