Job summary
Cymertek Corporation in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Terrestrial Software Systems Engineer to design, develop, and optimize software that supports ground-based operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable terrestrial systems.
The role emphasizes real-time programming, system-level design, debugging, and performance improvements. A Bachelor's Degree and TS/SCI Full Poly clearance are required, with growth opportunities in a dynamic federal contracting
Qualifications
- Proficiency in system-level programming and real-time software.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with software testing tools.
- Knowledge of real-time operating systems and scheduling.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain terrestrial software systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering and operations.
- Design and implement system-level software for ground-based platforms.
- Ensure software reliability and performance under real-time constraints.
