Job summary

Midwest Floor Restore in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Floor Restoration Technician with a strong background in terrazzo and concrete floor restoration. You will perform grinding, honing, polishing, densifying, and sealing to achieve high-quality finishes.

Operate weighted swing machines and large planetary grinders to deliver consistent results on diverse floors. Travel for out-of-town projects is required with travel expenses covered.

Qualifications

• Experience as terrazzo or concrete floor technician.
• Knowledge of grinding, honing, and polishing systems.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Restore terrazzo and concrete floors using grinding, honing, polishing, densifying, and sealing.
• Operate weighted swing machines and large planetary grinders safely.
• Select diamonds, tooling, and steps based on floor conditions.
• Maintain consistent scratch patterns and high-quality finish.
• Repair chips, cracks and surface imperfections.
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
• Travel for out-of-town projects (company covers travel expenses).
