Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a student engineer to contribute to the Terran R valves and COPVs within the Components team. You will assist with design, testing, and analysis of valve systems and COPVs, while collaborating across propulsion, avionics, and manufacturing groups.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a mechanical or related engineering degree, with exposure to thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in relevant engineering discipline (mechanical or related).
• Direct experience applying engineering fundamentals in thermodynamics, structures, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer (e.g., club teams, prior internships).
• Experience with programming languages such as Matlab, Python, or C++.
• Experience with CFD and FEA tools (ANSYS).
• Experience with composites basic principles, design and analysis.
• Experience with NX modeling and CAD dataset generation.
