Job summary

Terrain is seeking a Seasonal Tree Attendant at our Glen Mills location to help customers during holiday tree shopping. You will engage customers, share tree knowledge, and support purchases by cutting, baling, and tying trees for transport.

This outdoor role requires stamina to lift and move heavy trees, a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to provide friendly, helpful service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service
• Basic knowledge and skill of power tools
• Ability to lift in excess of 50lbs and push 100lbs daily
• Willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Shares tree knowledge to assist customers with purchases (cutting, baling, tying trees)
• Uses MPOS for efficient checkout to ensure a seamless shopping experience
• Works outdoors in varying weather, maintaining a positive, respectful attitude
• Assists leadership in maintaining tree yard standards and stocking
• Adheres to safety standards, inventory control, and company policies to support store profitability

Role Summary

A Seasonal Tree Attendant contributes to driving sales by naturally engaging the customer while holiday tree shopping. They uphold terrain’s four promises: to welcome, to inspire, to inform and to appreciate our customer.

Role Responsibilities

• Shares tree knowledge to service the customer to assists with customer purchases by cutting, baling, and tying trees to vehicles
• Delivers a seamless shopping experience through understanding and utilization of MPOS for an efficient check out
• Enjoys working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, contributing to the holiday experience by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others
• Assists leadership team in maintain tree yard standards and stocking trees
• Adheres to store’s safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store

Pay Range

USD $14.50 - USD $14.50 /Hr.
