Job summary

Free People’s Terrain Events team in Bucks County, PA seeks friendly, professional event staff to deliver upscale guest experiences at weddings, galas, and corporate functions. This fast-paced, team-driven role rewards proactive service and impeccable hospitality.

You’ll assist with setup, transition, and breakdown, stay knowledgeable about menus, and maintain polished service from passing hors d’oeuvres to plated meals.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service; upscale hospitality, catering, fine dining, weddings or banquet service a plus.
• Availability on weekends; some holidays; minimum of 3 shifts/month during peak season (April–December).
• Typical Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM.
• Transportation: Reliable transportation required.
• Physical requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs; able to stand/move for 8–10 hours; work indoors and outdoors.
• Scheduling: Weekly recurring availability required.
• Flexible, proactive, and collaborative team attitude necessary.
• Comfortable with formal event moments (speeches, dances, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and seating for food running, especially entree service.
• Bus tables, dishes, silverware, and trash to the kitchen.
• Refill and restock food and beverage displays as needed.
• Dry, polish and store equipment used during events.
• Maintain clean service stations.
• Represent the Terrain brand with professionalism at all times.

Terrain Event Servers are at the heart of each event, providing exceptional service from ceremony to final toast. This is a fast-paced, team-focused role ideal for hospitality professionals who love creating memorable guest experiences and thrive in an elevated service environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Support the specific set up of dining room, patio/bar, and ceremony/garden areas
• Execute moving tables and chairs during transitions and breakdown for every event
• Provide warm, polished, and intuitive guest service during passed appetizers, tableside wine, and for buffet, plated or family-style meals.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, as well as tables and seat numbers, for all food running, especially during entrée service
• Bussing glasses, dishes, silverware, and trash from all event tables to the kitchen
• Refilling, restocking, and transitioning all stationary food and beverage displays as needed
• Drying, polishing & putting away all equipment used during the event
• Maintaining clean and organized service stations
• Represent the Terrain brand with professionalism and care at all times

Pay Range

Starting from USD $18.00/Hr.
