Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Termite Technician to protect customers’ properties from wood-destroying organisms. You will inspect, prevent, and treat termite issues while communicating effectively with clients and maintaining service equipment.

Ideal candidates bring customer service experience and a willingness to work in diverse environments, including height and confined spaces, with safety gear and federal/state regulations in mind.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass pre-employment background screen.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of customer service; termite control experience is a plus.
• Flexible with working hours, Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations (covered by us).
• Basic math skills for measurements and product mixing.

Responsibilities

• Identify termite problems and knowledge of termite behaviors to determine remedial steps.
• Perform termite treatment services safely and according to guidelines.
• Apply anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule and label instructions.
• Communicate critical conditions and discuss procedures with customers.
• Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order.
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
• Complete production forms documenting services provided.
• Interacting with customers and explaining services provided.
