Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. is seeking a Termite Technician to protect customers’ properties from wood-destroying organisms. The role involves inspections, prevention, and treatments, serving as the first line of defense for preserving homes and businesses.

Responsibilities include identifying termite problems, applying treatments safely, and communicating critical conditions to clients. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and flexibility with hours;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence (Company vehicle and gas card provided).
• At least 1 year of customer service experience; termite control is a plus.
• Be flexible with working hours, Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).
• Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Follow instructions for mixing on product labels.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer’s termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps
• Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices
• Applying anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions.
• Communicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to treatment process
• Verifying that job specifications are appropriate for each work order
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment
• Completing production forms documenting services provided
• Interacting with customers and explaining services provided
