Job summary

Orkin is seeking an Orkin Pro in West Columbia, SC. You will complete our award-winning training and begin a pest-control service route built on safety and professionalism.

You will drive a company vehicle, work directly with customers in homes or businesses, and apply empathy to provide the most effective solutions. No industry experience is required; comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities accompany a mission-driven team.

Responsibilities

• Complete award-winning company paid training to operate a pest control service route.
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Drive a company vehicle and follow a route schedule within assigned territory.
• Interact with customers with professionalism and integrity.
• Empathetically listen to customers to tailor effective solutions.
• Prepare and install home or business services (attics, crawlspaces, gutter protection, radiant heat barrier).
• Set clear expectations with customers and guide them through the service process.
• Complete all service-related documentation using the provided handheld device.

Where and how will you serve customers?

• Complete our award-winning company paid training and learn the skills required to be responsible for the daily operation of a pest control service route to become a Pro.
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Drive a company vehicle and follow a route schedule within assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer.
• Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Serve as a problem solver for each customer with empathy by listening to and understanding their needs and utilizing Orkin Pro expertise to recommend the most efficient and innovative solution.
• Prepare and install home or business services to include, but not limited to, attic remediations, crawlspace encapsulations, gutter protection, and radiant heat barrier for energy efficiency.
• Interact with customers in their home or business by setting project expectations and walking them through the process to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete all required service-related documentation and leverage your hand-held device provided for speed and accuracy.
