Job Summary
Dr. Termites is seeking a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Branch 3 Termite Inspector/Applicator.
This position is responsible for inspecting residential and commercial properties, identifying termite and wood-destroying pest activity, preparing estimates, recommending appropriate treatment options, selling services, and performing termite treatments.
A current California Branch 3 Field Representative License is preferred but is not required. Training and licensing opportunities may be available for the right candidate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect residential and commercial properties in accordance with California Structural Pest Control Board requirements.
- Identify active termite infestations, wood-destroying organisms, damage, and other conditions affecting the property.
- Prepare accurate inspection reports, diagrams, findings, estimates, and treatment recommendations.
- Explain inspection findings and treatment options clearly to customers.
- Estimate and sell available termite treatment and repair services.
- Price jobs according to company-approved pricing standards.
- Perform termite treatments safely and according to product labels, company procedures, and state regulations.
- Treat active termite infestations and accurately document completed work.
- Complete and submit all required reports and paperwork by the following business day.
- Maintain professional communication with customers, managers, office staff, and technicians.
- Keep the assigned company vehicle clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Maintain company tools, treatment equipment, chemicals, and safety supplies.
- Follow all company safety policies and use required personal protective equipment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Valid California driver’s license required.
- Acceptable driving record required.
- Branch 3 Field Representative License preferred but not required.
- Termite inspection or treatment experience preferred.
- Two years of termite inspection experience preferred.
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to clearly explain inspection findings and treatment recommendations.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to complete reports and paperwork accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and professional appearance required.
- Willingness to learn and follow company procedures.
Physical Requirements
The employee must be able to:
- Climb one-story and two-story ladders.
- Lift and carry at least 25 pounds.
- Enter and work in attics, crawlspaces, substructures, and confined areas.
- Bend, kneel, crawl, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Look upward for periods of approximately 10 minutes or longer.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
- Safely operate drills, treatment equipment, ladders, and other termite-control tools.

Schedule
- 30–45 hours per week
- Monday through Friday
- Day shift
- Typical availability between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
- Alternating Saturdays
- On-call availability may be required
- Overtime may be required depending on business needs
