Job summary

Terminix is seeking a Termite Technician in Wisconsin to protect properties from wood-destroying organisms. Responsibilities include performing treatments, inspections, and communicating with customers about termite concerns.

What do our Termite Technicians do?

Termite Technicians protect customers’ properties from wood‑destroying organisms. As the first line of defense, you perform inspections, prevention, and treatment services that give customers peace of mind.

Responsibilities
  • Identify customer’s termite problems and use knowledge of termite behavior to determine remedial steps.
  • Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices.
  • Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions.
  • Communicate to the customer critical conditions conducive to termite activity and discuss procedures and structural modifications that may be supplemental to the treatment process.
  • Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order.
  • Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
  • Complete production forms documenting services provided.
  • Interact with customers and explain services performed.
Essential Job Functions
  • Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations.
  • Prepare the job site for treatment.
  • Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders.
  • Work up to 20 feet on a ladder and in small confined spaces.
  • General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is a plus.
  • Work on roofs and high areas.
  • Perform repetitive movements such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, up/down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA‑compliant respirator, and work regularly in confined spaces, narrow aisles or passageways.
Qualifications

  • At least one year of customer service; experience in termite control is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility with working hours, Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed.
  • Required licenses/certificates per federal, state, and local regulations (covered by us).
  • Basic math skills for mixing on product labels.
