Orkin is seeking a dedicated Pro in Santa Ana, CA to join a team delivering top-tier pest control services. No industry experience is required, as comprehensive training is provided.

You’ll drive a company vehicle, follow a defined route, and protect customers’ homes and businesses with professional service. From safety-first responsibilities to hands-on service installations, you’ll grow into a trusted Orkin Pro.

Qualifications

  • No industry experience required; we’ll train you to be a Pro.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to obtain pesticide license within the first 90 days (company paid).
  • Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Complete training to operate a pest control service route.
  • Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
  • Drive a company vehicle and follow a route schedule within the territory.
  • Interact professionally with customers and coworkers with integrity.
  • Listen to customers and provide efficient, innovative pest-control solutions.
  • Prepare and install home or business services (attics, crawl spaces, etc.).
  • Set expectations with customers and guide them through the process.
  • Complete service-related documentation using a handheld device.

Responsibilities

Where and how will you serve customers?

  • Complete our award-winning company paid training and learn the skills required to be responsible for the daily operation of a pest control service route to become a Pro
  • Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
  • Drive a company vehicle and follow a route schedule within assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer
  • Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
  • Serve as a problem solver for each customer with empathy by listening to and understanding their needs and utilizing Orkin Pro expertise to recommend the most efficient and innovative solution
  • Prepare and install home or business services to include, but not limited to, attic remediations, crawlspace encapsulations, gutter protection, and radiant heat barrier for energy efficiency
  • Interact with customers in their home or business by setting project expectations and walking them through the process to ensure satisfaction
  • Complete all required service-related documentation and leverage your hand-held device provided for speed and accuracy

What will my work environment be like?

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:

  • Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator
  • Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
