Job summary

Orkin is hiring entry-level Pest Pros in Georgia to start a rewarding career with growth potential. No experience required; you’ll receive award-winning training, a company vehicle, and a comprehensive benefits package as you learn to protect homes and businesses.

You’ll drive routes, prioritize safety, complete service installations, and build trust with customers while gaining licenses and industry skills. This role offers competitive pay starting at $20 per hour plus 401(k) and paid time off.

Qualifications

  • No experience required; we’ll train you to be a Pro.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
  • Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with customers inside their homes and/or businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Complete training and learn the skills to operate a pest control service route.
  • Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
  • Drive a company vehicle and follow a route schedule within territory, ensuring timely arrival.
  • Interact with customers with professionalism and integrity.
  • Provide solutions to customers by applying Orkin Pro expertise.
  • Prepare and install services such as attic remediations, crawlspace encapsulations, gutter protection, and energy-efficient barriers.
  • Set project expectations with customers and walk them through the process.
  • Complete service-related documentation using hand-held device.

Responsibilities

Where and how will you serve customers?

  • Complete our award-winning company paid training and learn the skills required to be responsible for the daily operation of a pest control service route to become a Pro
  • Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
  • Drive a company vehicle and follow a route schedule within assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer
  • Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
  • Serve as a problem solver for each customer with empathy by listening to and understanding their needs and utilizing Orkin Pro expertise to recommend the most efficient and innovative solution
  • Prepare and install home or business services to include, but not limited to, attic remediations, crawlspace encapsulations, gutter protection, and radiant heat barrier for energy efficiency
  • Interact with customers in their home or business by setting project expectations and walking them through the process to ensure satisfaction
  • Complete all required service-related documentation and leverage your hand-held device provided for speed and accuracy

What will my work environment be like?

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:

  • Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator
  • Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
