Job summary

Rentokil in Milton, FL is seeking a Termite Technician to protect customers’ properties from wood destroying organisms. As the first line of defense, you will perform inspections, prevention and treatment services to provide peace of mind and safety.

You’ll work in various environments, climbing ladders and entering crawl spaces, wearing PPE, and communicating clearly with customers about procedures and preventive measures. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license (state of residence).
• At least 1 year of customer service; termite control experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Flexible with working hours, Mon–Fri and Saturdays as needed.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (covered by us).

Responsibilities

• Identify customer’s termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps.
• Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices.
• Applying anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions.
• Communicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to treatment process.
• Verifying that job specifications are appropriate for each work order.
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
• Completing production forms documenting services provided.
• Interacting with customers and explaining services provided.
