Job summary

Terminix, a member of the Rentokil family, seeks a licensed and experienced technician who will also train others in the Terminix Way. You will deliver termite and home services to assigned customers and lead safety and quality standards in field work.

You will conduct annual inspections, advise on recommended solutions, and help grow the branch by mentoring apprentices and coordinating with teammates and management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate.
• Ability to present information in internal and external settings.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to follow mixing instructions on product labels.
• Maintains licenses/certificates as required by regulations.
• Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, safe termite and home services for each assigned customer.
• Complete annual re-inspections to ensure service efficacy.
• Advise customers of service work completed, summarize conditions, relate solutions, gain commitment.
• Maintain safe and clean vehicle/equipment and ensure product stock.
• Coordinate scheduling with management and branch support for interventions.
• Conduct classroom/field training to develop apprentice technicians and support branch priorities.

Job Summary

Certified under the Terminix Way program as a licensed and experienced technician and trainer focused on home services and termite control services and training others in the Terminix Way

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver timely, safe, and effective termite service and home services for each assigned customer (both established and new)
• Complete annual re-inspections to ensure continued service efficacy and identify/document any concerning conditions
• Advise customers of service work completed, summarize concerning conditions, relate recommended solutions/benefits, gain commitment, and collaborate with other team members on needed follow-ups
• Maintain safe and clean vehicle/equipment and ensure sufficient quantities of product to meet service needs
• Maintain proactive schedule management, partnering with management and branch support center as needed for any scheduling interventions
• Conduct classroom/field training to enable growth/development of apprentice technicians and support branch/market priorities

Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
