CITGO Petroleum Corporation seeks a Terminal Operator to support safe, environmentally sound operations and assist the terminal manager in planning, budgeting, and coordinating cross-functional activities. This role emphasizes adherence to safety rules, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of terminal performance.

The successful candidate will help manage daily operations, ensure safe handling of petroleum products, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 2 years of experience.
• Office PC applications.

Responsibilities

• Safety and Environmental Management: Conduct daily terminal inspections to identify and address unsafe conditions and environmental issues.
• Terminal Operations: Oversee receipt and delivery of petroleum products; manage terminal operations around the clock, including schedules and on-call obligations.
• Budget Preparation and Control: Evaluate costs of current operations and project future expenses; monitor and control expenses.
• Reporting: Track and prepare reports on terminal activities; communicate with stakeholders; report on supply, demand, inventory, and pricing information.
• Quality Control: Ensure products meet specifications through sampling and testing; manage tank conversions and sludge removal.
• Customer Relations and Community Image: Maintain high service levels and ensure the terminal is well-maintained.
• Asset Management: Reconcile inventories; coordinate product movements and maintenance; oversee repairs.
• Emergency Preparedness and Response: Prepare for emergencies by reviewing plans and conducting drills.
