The Colorado Judicial Branch is seeking an entry/developing-level Probation Officer responsible for investigation, assessment, supervision, and reporting on clients’ court-ordered services. This position requires completing training and coordinating resources to support probation outcomes.
Primary duties include case management, conducting interviews, developing case plans, monitoring compliance, and preparing reports and testimony for the Court.

Performs entry/developing-level Probation Officer responsibilities, including investigation, assessment, supervision, resource coordination, and monitoring of clients’ court-ordered for services. Completes required training courses and programs.
Applicants should be aware that this position will be assigned duties in support of the Victim Assistance and Restorative Justice Programs in the 20th Judicial District. May assist in the collection of data in support of recommendations for functional area budget allocations. May monitor division or program/promotional level budget and expenditures.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, sociology, psychology, human services or related field.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate's degree in criminal justice, sociology, psychology, human services or related field and two (2) years of work-related experience in criminal justice, law enforcement, social work, psychology or related field.
OR
High School Diploma or G.E.D and four (4) years of work-related experience in criminal justice, law enforcement, social work, psychology or related field may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required formal education.
