Job summary

Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law invites applications from entry-level and lateral candidates for up to four full-time, tenured or tenure-track faculty positions to begin at the start of the 2027-28 academic year. The workload is 40% teaching, 40% scholarship, and 20% service.

New hires will teach one or more required 1L course(s) and/or one or more core upper-level course(s). A successful candidate might expect to teach two or more of: Constitutional Law, Contracts, Criminal

Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent degree with a record of academic excellence.
• We seek candidates with potential for or a record of innovative scholarship and engaged teaching.
• A recent scholarly publication or substantial work in progress is expected to evince scholarly aptitude and commitment.
