The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor in Pathology. This full‑time, 12‑month tenure‑track position will involve developing and delivering veterinary pathology instruction within the DVM curriculum.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required.
• Completion of a residency in veterinary pathology is essential.
• Knowledge of contemporary veterinary pathology principles and diagnostic methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver instruction in veterinary pathology.
• Engage in scholarly activity, research, or educational innovation.
• Mentor veterinary students in research and professional development.

Skills

Knowledge of contemporary veterinary pathology principles

Ability to teach and mentor professional students

Education
