Job summary

The University of Toledo invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant/Associate or full Professor level in tumor immunology within the Department of Surgery. We seek scientists focused on tumor immunology, the tumor microenvironment, the microbiome, and strategies to overcome tumor immunosuppression to expand cancer biology and experimental therapeutics strengths.

Qualifications include a Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.D. with postdoctoral research accomplishments.
• 3–4 years research experience in tumor immunology, including tumor microenvironment and microbiome.
• Three or more high-quality publications.
• Ability to collaborate with existing faculty in the department.
• Ability to lead a laboratory team and work collegially.
• Rank of Associate Professor or Professor requires significant grant funding from NIH or other agencies.
• Strong potential to obtain additional extramural funding.
