Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Business Administration or Mathematics/Statistics.
• Daytime availability to teach on-campus.
• Experience teaching Statistics, Business Math, and Quantitative Business Applications.
• Ability to engage in distance learning initiatives.
• Classes taught on HVCC Troy, NY and possibly HVCC North campus.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction in the Business Department.
• Teach Statistics, including statistical methods for data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
• Teach Quantitative Business Applications, including algebra-based calculations and analysis of business investment scenarios.
• Teach Business Math, including ratio, percentages, simple interest, and present value.
• Evaluate student performance.
• Participate in departmental, division-wide, and college-wide committees.
• Perform additional duties as specified in the faculty contract.
