Job summary

The University of Southern California, Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work, invites applications for tenure-track assistant professor positions starting August 2027. We seek scholars with strong research and teaching in social welfare policy, child welfare, or technology and AI in social work.

Candidates must hold an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program and a PhD in social work or a related field; two years of post-MSW practice is preferred.

Qualifications

• MSW degree from a CSWE-accredited university is required.
• PhD in social work, welfare, or related field is required.
• Two years of post-MSW practice experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach in our MSW, BSW, PhD, DSW, and DSI programs.
• Conduct impactful research and publish in peer-reviewed outlets.
• Develop interdisciplinary collaborations across USC centers and allied disciplines.
