Job summary

Northern Kentucky University’s School of Social Work invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor. The role includes teaching in both the BSW and MSW programs across in-person, hybrid, and online formats and engaging actively in scholarship, service, and accreditation activities.

Preferred candidates will have MSW from a CSWE-accredited program and a PhD in social work or related field (ABD considered with a confirmed completion date).

Qualifications

• MSW from CSWE-accredited program is required.
• PhD in social work or related field is required (ABD considered with completion date).
• Experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, online and in-person formats.

Responsibilities

• Teach in BSW and MSW programs in-person, hybrid, and online.
• Engage in scholarship and disseminate findings at national/international levels.
• Contribute to CSWE accreditation processes and reaffirmation cycles.
• Engage in service to the university, profession, and community.
