Job summary

Qualifications

• MSW from a CSWE-accredited social work program (or documented equivalent for international programs) and a DSW, PhD, or other doctoral degree related to social work.
• Minimum of two years (24 months) of post-MSW, agency-based practice experience.
• Expertise in direct individual, family, and group practice.
• Rank and appointment commensurate with experience; more extensive record for Associate Professor.

Responsibilities

• Teach, research, and service as a full-time tenure-track faculty member.
• Typical schedule: 3/3 teaching load plus 1/1 active professional advising.
• Contribute to the excellence of the JMU academic community and mentor diverse students.
