The Children\'s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek an Assistant Professor in the Division of Experimental Pathology for a tenure-track position. Candidates must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D.

and demonstrate strong postdoctoral experience and potential for extramural funding. The successful candidate will lead an independent research program using molecular tools and platform technologies to investigate pediatric diseases,

Qualifications

• Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree.
• Strong postdoctoral or fellowship experience.
• Evidence of productivity and potential to secure extramural funding.
• Ability to provide outstanding training environment for students and fellows.
• Willingness to engage broadly across diverse research communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead an independent, extramurally funded research program.
• Collaborate across immunology, infectious disease, cancer biology, neuroscience, RNA biology.
• Develop or leverage platform technologies to study pediatric diseases.
