Job summary

Texas Woman’s University (TWU) School of Physical Therapy is hiring for a full-time 9-month, tenure-track, faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor for our Dallas campus. Responsibilities include developing and teaching courses in the professional DPT program, participating in service activities, maintaining an active scholarly agenda, and advising DPT students.

TWU supports collaboration with residency programs and emphasizes excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service

Qualifications

• Eligible for licensure as a physical therapist in Texas.
• Earned post-professional doctoral degree (e.g. PhD, DSc, EdD) in physical therapy or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed physical therapist.
• Current member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Responsibilities

• Developing and teaching courses in the professional DPT program.
• Participating in service activities within the School and across the University.
• Maintaining an activity scholarly agenda.
• Advising DPT students.
• Faculty must abide by the TWU Faculty Responsibilities, Standards of Conduct, and Disciplinary Processes (URP 2.330).
