Qualifications

• Ph.D. in geography or related field required or anticipated by start of employment.
• Demonstrated expertise in GIS, spatial analysis, remote sensing, geospatial data science or related methods.
• Ability to develop and teach GIS/spatial analysis courses and to mentor undergraduate/graduate students.

Responsibilities

• Teach existing undergraduate courses and develop new GIS/spatial analysis courses.
• Develop and integrate curriculum in geospatial methods relevant to agricultural and environmental systems.
• Establish an active research program and seek external funding; mentor students.
