Job summary

The Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Management of Organizations with an expected start date of July 1, 2027. We seek candidates whose research focuses on entrepreneurship and/or innovation and who illuminate sociological and economic mechanisms that drive behavior in organizations.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have a Ph.D. (or equivalent international degree) or be enrolled in a Ph.D. (or equivalent international degree) granting program at the time of application.
• We prefer applicants who have or will have a Ph.D. in Management, Organizational Behavior, Sociology, or closely related fields and who will complete the doctoral degree within six months of the start date.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on entrepreneurship and/or innovation.
• Teach and mentor students at undergraduate, MBA, PhD, and executive levels.
• Contribute to the understanding of sociological, psychological, and economic processes that drive organizational behavior.

Education

Ph.D. in Management, Organizational Behavior, Sociology, or related fields

Ph.D. candidacy or completion within six months of start date
